Meet The Ellis

It is finally official!

We are so thrilled to finally announce the name change of Edison777 in Italian Village to The Ellis. 

“This event venue is in the heart of Italian Village,” said John A. Brooks, managing partner of BTTS Holdings. “As a 3rd generation Italian American, I have a deep personal connection to the strong culture found in Italian Village. As the venue continued to evolve and grow, we wanted to find a name that would be in the spirit of our heritage and the community’s roots, and pay homage to my great grandparents, as well as the 4 million Italian immigrants who came to the United States through Ellis Island in the early 1900s” 

The newly named event venue, The Ellis, officially opened as Edison777 Italian Village in June 2021.  

“The new name intends to convey and connect with the welcoming spirit of the Italian Village community,” explained Brooks. 

While the name is changing, the ambiance of the venue and the BTTS commitment to second-to-none hospitality and event planning remain the same. The Ellis features a brick façade and outdoor courtyard space, along with a custom built-in bar and original historical arched windows. The private venue can host up to 200 guests, or 175 with a dance floor. The venue is served by BTTS Holding’s in-house catering company Gourmet Fresh and in-house floral company Fiori Florals.
