Season of Giving: A Time to Make a Difference

At BTTS, the holidays are a special time filled with gratitude and giving back. As we enter the fifth year of our Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, we are once again reminded of the power of community and the importance of extending a helping hand to those in need. This year, we're proud to continue our tradition of supporting local families while expanding our outreach to veterans through several initiatives embodying the spirit of generosity.

The Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive: Feeding Families in Need

Our Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive has been a cornerstone of BTTS's efforts to give back for this season for the past five years. This year, we are again serving the Center of Hope neighbors to provide full Thanksgiving meals to 120 families. Each family will receive a basket filled with everything they need to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving feast, from turkeys to pies. These baskets are designed to feed 4-6 family members, ensuring no one misses out on the warmth and comfort of a home-cooked meal during this special time of year.

Thanks to our supporters' generosity, we've collected monetary donations to purchase all the items needed for these meals. Whether it's the stuffing or the cranberry sauce, we make sure every detail is covered. It's not just about the food; it's about the joy and sense of togetherness that these meals bring to families who may otherwise go without.

Supporting Veterans through 3rd & Goal Foundation

In addition to feeding families, we're extending our giving efforts to support veterans through the 3rd and Goal Foundation. Our veterans have given so much to protect our freedoms, and this season, we're honored to give back by addressing some of their essential needs. We are collecting high-need items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, shaving cream, razors, and socks to help make their lives a little easier.

But that's not all—we will also provide meals to approximately 100 veterans as they shop for these essential items. This event is more than just providing goods; it's an opportunity for us to sit with veterans, share a meal, and show our appreciation for their service. It's a moment to connect and remind them that their sacrifices are not forgotten.

Adopt-A-Hero: Supporting Military Families

Finally, we are excited to announce our participation in the Adopt-A-Hero program, with 3rd and Goal Foundation, this holiday season. Through this program, BTTS will be adopting 11 military families, ensuring that they have a brighter holiday season. These families often face unique challenges, especially during the holidays, and we are committed to ensuring they feel supported and cared for. Whether it's providing gifts for children or necessities for the home, we are thrilled to have the chance to give back to these heroes and their families meaningfully.

Join Us in the Season of Giving

At BTTS, the Season of Giving is about more than just donations—community, compassion, and creating lasting connections. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of everyone who has contributed to these efforts, and we invite you to join us in making this holiday season a little brighter for families and veterans in need. Whether through a monetary donation for our Thanksgiving baskets or by contributing items for veterans, every act of kindness makes a difference.

Together, we can make this season memorable for those who need it most. Let's continue to spread love, warmth, and generosity this holiday season. Thank you for being a part of the BTTS community and helping us make a lasting impact.
