John A. Brooks

MANAGING PARTNER

John A. Brooks was born in Columbus, OH and currently resides in Westerville, OH with his wife and four children.

He began his work career in commercial real estate after attending the Ohio State University. As a real estate agent for Equity Inc. he was frequently recognized as a Top Producer for the company and very active within the central Ohio real estate community with development volume value over $500million over the course of his career.

 In 2005, he was promoted by Equity Inc. to the position of Executive Vice President. In this role he oversaw brokerage and property management operations for the entire company and was instrumental in opening the Tampa, Florida office and Dayton, Ohio. Under his leadership the property management portfolio grew to over 5 million square feet and he oversaw 35+ agents in the offices of Columbus, Dayton, Cincinnati, and Tampa, FL. John played an active role in the community as a board member for PDHC, NAIOP and other organizations

In 2015 he took a more active role as the Managing Partner in the family business of event venues, catering and florals.  Since that time, BTTS Holdings Inc. has grown to become the largest exclusive event venues operator in central Ohio with 8 venues, in house catering and floral design, and a strong focus on Giving Back.

Outside of work he enjoys gardening, spending time with family, supporting the Columbus Crew and traveling, especially to Italia.
